With filming complete and only weeks until its scheduled theatrical release, actor Kevin Spacey has reportedly been cut from the film “All the Money in the World” amid multiple allegations of sexual misconduct.
According to CNN, director Ridley Scott and producers decided to cut all of Spacey’s scenes and reshoot them with Christopher Plummer in the supporting role.
Despite the major edit at such a late stage in the film’s development, it is still set to be released in theaters on December 22.
Spacey has faced multiple allegations of sexual harassment and assault, including actor Anthony Rapp, who said he was 14 when Spacey tried to have sex with him in 1986. Former news anchor Heather Unruh alleged the actor assaulted her teen son last year.
Reports indicate Spacey is undergoing therapy of some sort in the wake of the continuing scandal.
