Authorities in Colorado arrested a man and woman accused of offering to trade marijuana for a car being sold by an off-duty officer.

Reports indicate Teller County Sheriff Jason Mikesell listed the vehicle on Craigslist and was contacted by 39-year-old Shawn Langley.

The suspect reportedly offered Mikesell about four pounds of what he claimed was high-quality “homegrown black market” marijuana in exchange for the car, according to KRDO.

After the two established a meeting place to make the trade, Langley and Jane Cravens arrived to find officers waiting for them. They were arrested at the scene and face narcotics charges.
