A Delaware family did not expect to see a beloved pet cat when it disappeared and was presumed stolen more than three years ago.
Just a few days before Christmas, though, the Tuttles — who have since moved to Virginia — received a call informing them that the Bengal mix, Raja, had been dropped off at an SPCA near their old home.
According to the News Journal, the cat was identified via an implanted microchip.
Director of Operations Walt Fenstermacher called the homecoming a “Christmas miracle.”
He said it was “certainly one of the most amazing reunifications” he has witnessed during his work with the shelter.
