Trump blasts Bannon, says former top aide ‘lost his mind’

Following the release of excerpts from a forthcoming book in which former White House strategist Steve Bannon unleashed on his former colleagues, President Donald Trump issued a scathing response Wednesday.

According to NBC News, the new book, “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” was written by columnist Michael Wolff.

Bannon is quoted as criticizing individuals close to the president, including Donald Trump Jr., calling his controversial meeting with a Russian lawyer during the 2016 campaign both “treasonous” and “unpatriotic.”

As CNN reported, Trump used his statement to describe Bannon as merely “a staffer” who “lost his mind” after he was fired.

“Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency,” the statement read. “When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind. Steve was a staffer who worked for me after I had already won the nomination by defeating 17 candidates, often described as the most talented field ever assembled in the Republican party.”

  1. Losing your mind or losing your marbles. When Trump forced Bannon to resign and kept Hope Hicks the daughter of Paul Hicks, EVP of Communications and public policy to join the Glover Park Group as an MD shows that WPP, Plc hired the operative Hicks with direct leaking lines capability. Hope Hicks recruited bybMatt Hiltzik and Jared Kushner to infiltrate Trumps Administration. Who lost his mind? Jared Kushner! Whose making millions off the hire? WPP, Plc British Consortium run by Sir Martin Sorrell and Hope’s Daddy is out of touch with the U.S.A. Hicks need KNEE surgery!
