Stormy Daniels offers to return $130K to nullify ‘hush agreement’

The White House controversy continues to grow this week surrounding an adult film actress’ claims of a 2006 affair with President Trump and attorney Michael Cohen’s payment of $130,000 in apparent hush money during the waning days of the 2016 presidential election.

Stephanie Clifford, known by her stage name Stormy Daniels, announced Monday through her attorney an offer to return the payment, thus allowing her to speak openly about the alleged encounter.

Michael Avenatti’s statement indicated that such an arrangement would give Clifford the freedom to “use and publish any text message, photos and/or videos relating to the President that she may have in her possession, all without fear of retribution and/or legal liability for damages.”
