Alex Jones, the polarizing political commentator banned from multiple platforms for promoting hate speech, got into a spat with U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., on Wednesday.
As cameras captured, Jones repeatedly interrupted during a media event and attracted a stern rebuke when he touched the senator.
“Don’t touch me again, man,” Rubio said, adding that he did not know who Jones was.
When the far-right conspiracy theorist suggested he might be arrested, Rubio said he should not be worried about that.
“You’re not going to get arrested, man,” he said. “You’re not going to get arrested. I’ll take care of you myself.”
During the interaction, Jones called Rubio a “frat boy” and a “gangster thug.”
