PayPal joins list of tech companies to ban Infowars

Infowars has a little more than a week to make new arrangements for its online financial transactions.

According to The New York Times, PayPal has joined a list of other tech companies to sever ties with the controversial media company.

Along with its far-right conspiracy theorist founder, Alex Jones, Infowars has been removed from platforms including Apple, Facebook and Twitter.

“Our values are the foundation for the decision we made this week,” PayPal announced, citing “promotion of hate and discrimination” as specific violations by Infowars.
