In a new CBS interview, Ted Turner shares some gentle criticism of the revolutionary cable news network he founded nearly 40 years ago.
“I think they’re sticking with politics a little too much,” the CNN founder said. “They’d do better to have a more balanced agenda. But that’s, you know, just one person’s opinion.”
The 79-year-old businessman also opened up about his Lewy Body Dementia diagnosis and a previous flirtation with a White House bid.
Turner said that Jane Fonda, his wife at the time, put an end to his presidential ambitions.
“If you run for office, you run alone,” he recalled her telling him at the time.
