Kellyanne Conway defended President Donald Trump’s rhetoric during a controversial portion of his political rally in Mississippi this week.
As counselor to the president, Conway has become one of the Trump administration’s most prominent female voices. When she was asked about the president’s derogatory impression of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser, she described it as appropriate.
“The woman has been accommodated by all of us, including the Senate judiciary committee,” Conway said of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who claims Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her at a party in 1982.
Conway went on to say Ford has been “treated like a Fabege egg by all of us,” telling reporters that Trump was just “pointing out factual inconsistencies” in her story.
