FedEx scraps program benefiting NRA members

Several months after a public exodus of several companies with a history of partnering with the NRA, one major company that stood by the firearm lobbying group is now reversing course.

FedEx confirmed this week that it would be ending a discount program for active NRA members.

The news comes after a week of mail bomb threats punctuated by the mass shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh that left 11 dead and six others injured.

According to FedEx, its decision has no connection to recent events and has been under consideration for some time.
