Amid various reports of White House turmoil ahead of Chief of Staff John Kelly’s impending exit from the administration, one lawmaker took the opportunity to weigh in with a tweet this week.
Rep. Adam Schiff, the California Democrat recently referred to as “little Adam Schitt” in a presidential tweet, posted his own mock job description for Kelly’s replacement.
“Help wanted: White House Chief of Staff,” Schiff wrote. “No experience necessary. Must respond well to infighting, backbiting, dishonesty and dishonor. Excited by the prospect of an impossible work environment? Enjoy humiliation? Apply now!”
He went on to conclude that a background check is “negotiable.”
Trump’s second chief of staff is expected to be gone by the end of the year and the president said he is in “no rush” to publicly name his choice to serve as his third in less than two years.
