As Scope News previously reported, Quip ended its sponsorship of right-wing podcast host Ben Shapiro’s show after being tied to Friday’s anti-abortion March for Life rally.
A second sponsor, the Calm app, came to a similar decision in the wake of his controversial appearance. The company responded to social media criticism by confirming it would look into the complaint, ultimately announcing it would no longer advertise on Shapiro’s podcast.
