The husband of the counselor to President Donald Trump took issue with a recent statement from White House press secretary Sarah Sanders in the wake of the Mueller probe’s conclusion.
After the special counsel’s report was completed last week, evidence has emerged indicating that while no evidence of conspiracy with Russia was found, no such determination was included on the matter of obstructing justice.
Nevertheless, Sanders released a statement calling the report “a total and complete exoneration” of Trump and claiming that Robert Mueller and his team “did not find any collusion and did not find any obstruction.”
Kellyanne Conway’s husband, conservative attorney and frequent Trump critic George Conway, challenged the White House mouthpiece to revise her statement.
“You misspelled ‘While this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.’ Pls fix. Thx,” he tweeted.
