Biden pledges to be ‘more mindful’ amid claims of unwanted touching

As multiple women accuse him of unwanted touching ahead of what many expect to be an announcement of his 2020 presidential campaign, former Vice President Joe Biden addressed the elephant in the room in a social media video this week.

Acknowledging that “social norms are changing,” Biden went on to explain that while he has always looked at politics as being “about making connections,” he pledged to reconsider how he pursues that goal.

“I will be more mindful about respecting personal space in the future,” he said. “That’s my responsibility and I will meet it.”

Without throwing his hat in the ring, Biden indicated that “in the coming month” he will be speaking publicly “about a whole lot of issues” and promised to “always be direct” with voters.
