Fox News, like other cable news outlets, is providing airtime for 2020 presidential candidates to expand on their platforms.
A series of town halls has introduced the network’s largely conservative audience to some in the crowded Democratic primary field. But Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts won’t be among them.
She recently confirmed she gave Fox News a “hard pass” when invited to appear.
“Fox News is a hate-for-profit racket that gives a megaphone to racists and conspiracists — it’s designed to turn us against each other, risking life & death consequences, to provide cover for the corruption that’s rotting our government and hollowing out our middle class,” she tweeted.
Warren went on to declare that she will not “ask millions of Democratic primary voters to tune into an outlet that profits from racism and hate in order to see our candidates — especially when Fox will make even more money adding our valuable audience to their ratings numbers.”
