Major League Baseball considers playing entire season in Arizona ballparks: Report

With all professional sports experiencing widespread disruptions due to the coronavirus pandemic, some leagues are starting to discuss their options.

A new Associated Press report indicates one possible solution for Major League Baseball would include playing games in empty stadiums across the Phoenix area.

Chase Field, home of the Diamondbacks, joins 10 other local sites uses for spring training games. A recent phone conference between the MLB and representatives of pro baseball players reportedly put forth the idea that these fields could be used for all 30 pro teams in an effort to resume activity in the league.
