After bragging during a recent Fox News Channel interview about his results on a test meant to help diagnose cognitive deficiencies, Donald Trump doubled down on the narrative during a subsequent appearance on the same cable news network.
“The last questions are much more difficult, uh, like a memory question,” he said. “Like, you go, person, woman, man, camera, TV. So they say, ‘Can you repeat that?’ So I said, ‘Yeah, so it’s person, woman, man, camera, TV.’ ‘OK, that’s very good.’ If you get it in order, you get extra points.”
Trump went on to repeat his claim that the medical professionals administering the test were astounded by his achievement.

“They say, ‘That’s amazing — how did you do that?'” the president alleged. “I do it because I have, like, a good memory. Because I’m cognitively there.”
He concluded by asserting that “something’s going on” with presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, recommending that he take the same cognitive test.
