After the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute called on his re-election campaign to cease using the late 40th president’s likeness to raise funds, Donald Trump lashed out at the organization in a tweet on Sunday.
He went on to trash the Fox News Channel in the same tweet following a series of polls released by the network that show presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden with a sizable lead.
“So the Washington Post is running the Reagan Foundation, and [Republican In Name Only] Paul Ryan is on the Board of Fox, which has been terrible,” Trump tweeted. “We will win anyway, even with the phony [Fox News Channel] suppression polls (which have been seriously wrong for 5 years)!”
As for the supposedly “phony” Fox News polls, “Fox & Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade defended the network against similar claims made Trump campaign chairman Hogan Gidley.
