Donald Trump‘s personal attorney is once again facing backlash for comments made during a television interview.
In a segment of “Fox & Friends” on Thursday, the former New York City mayor asserted that the Black Lives Matter movement should be designated a terrorist organization.
He denounced such civic activist organizations for pursuing the supposed agenda of “literally trying to overthrow our way of life” by somehow engineering a “phony election.”
Giuliani went on to criticize some of the issues on which BLM was founded, complaining that progressive activists and leaders have not “said a single word about the violence taking place by Antifa or Black Lives Matter, both of whom [are] domestic terrorist groups without any doubt.”
He claimed that BLM members “are killers” and “hate white people,” alleging that African-Americans have told him that they agree with his assessment.
“Why aren’t they classified as a terrorist group?” he continued. “Just because they’re Black and nobody can say it?”
