President Joe Biden is expected to spend much of his second week in office signing new executive orders dealing with a litany of policy issues, including a push to require federal entities to purchase American-made products.

The move comes after he campaigned on a vow to invest $400 billion to emphasize support of U.S. workers and industries. He also promised to end certain waivers that allowed the federal government to bypass such requirements and to bolster rules requiring products promoted as American-made to defend that designation.
