The second show in Kernersville Little Theatre’s 2022-23 season will premiere this week at James Fitzpatrick Auditorium, 512 West Mountain Street.
“Arsenic and Old Lace” is a classic comedy by Joseph Kesselring, which was made into a 1944 film starring Cary Grant. Follow protagonist Mortimer Brewster as his charmed life begins to unravel upon learning some shocking details about his family.
When local actors take the stage at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, it will mark the third time that KLT has presented the play.
As Vice President of Marketing Myla O’Brien previously told Scope News: “KLT doesn’t often repeat shows, and this is our third time doing it; the last time was in 1996.”
She explained that the play “is usually popular among audiences” and is “sure to be a crowd-pleaser.”
The two-week engagement will include Friday and Saturday shows at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.
Tickets will be available at the door or in advance by clicking here.
