Zane’s Clodbuster Farm, located at the intersection of Hastings Road and Leonard Farm Road, will be hosting an event on Aug. 3 with all proceeds supporting Eastern Snouts Adoption and Rehoming, a nonprofit pig rescue organization.
In addition to more than 175 vendors, the annual Festival at the Farm will include live music, beer garden, cigars, a children’s area, and raffles. There will also be a car, truck, and Jeep “cruise-in” with those earning the most votes from attendees taking home a trophy. Activities are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Event organizer Beth Clodfelter told Scope News that a few spots were still available for vendors and sponsors.
“Thank you to Zane, Forsyth Auto Service, Jeanne Plaster, Kaufman Electric, and Transou’s for helping make this possible, along with the many vendors and the community that will be supporting us,” she said.
Clodfelter added that the goal of the festival is “to make a fun event while helping the animals and bringing awareness” to the “many pigs in foster homes that need adoption” across the state.
“Our pigs will not be there, but we will have pictures, descriptions, and information on how to care for them as well as how to adopt,” she said.
General admission is $1 cash and attendees are encouraged to bring correct change. Certain activities are available at an additional cost.
Along with a 50/50 raffle, several other items will be raffled off at the festival, including a Ruger rifle valued at $1,329.
