The Young Professionals of Kernersville will host its Canvas & Conversation networking event on Wednesday.
The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Folly’s Draft & Snack, 148 North Main Street. It is open to anyone 21 years of age or older looking to build professional relationships and engage in career-advancement conversations.
“In smaller towns, where relationships are key, networking helps build trust and fosters a sense of community, which can open doors to local collaborations and career growth,” said Young Professionals of Kernersville Committee Chair Ashley Sinclair. “It’s difficult to network on your own because you miss out on the collective wisdom and support that groups like Young Professionals offer.”
Inspired by a popular TikTok trend, participants will draw names and paint a portrait of the selected individual.
