After kicking off the current season with a show at Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden, Kernersville Little Theatre is returning to the venue for a special performance this week.
KLT Vice President of Marketing Kathy Hincher spoke to Scope News about the significance of Friday evening’s tribute to renowned composer Stephen Sondheim.
“After having such a great response to our performance of Sondheim’s ‘Into the Woods’ last summer and with our production of ‘Company’ coming up this season, we knew that this tribute would be the perfect fundraiser for KLT and our future endeavors,” she said.
In addition to being a one-night-only event, Hincher noted that the concert differs from other KLT productions in that it will be a “more formal evening” of entertainment.
“There will be drinks, desserts, a VIP section, and a silent auction,” she explained. “It will definitely be an evening you don’t want to miss.”The show begins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday at Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden, 215 South Main Street. Click here for tickets and additional information.
