Bagel Station Expands To Kernersville With Third Triad Location

Kernersville has a new bagel shop, though locals might not notice it at first glance.

The owners of Kernersville Bagel, which had been open for several years at 931 South Main Street, recently announced that they sold the business to a popular bagel shop with ties to the Triad dating back to 1990.

Though the local eatery is now technically The Bagel Station’s third location, customers can expect the same selection and service that they received from the previous owners with new options and features expected to be introduced over time.

At least for now, the signage on the door reflects the original, more familiar name.

For Kernersville Bagel owners Domenick and Bradyn Fiore, the decision to sell came down to determining what was best for their family.

“We have enjoyed every minute of service to this community and are so moved by this life experience,” Bradyn Fiore said. “We have chosen to move on at this time for shifting family priorities and feel secure in the idea that our hard work and dedication to the store and the community will be well taken care of by the team at Bagel Station. This is sad for us. It does feel like letting your child go in a way. But we are equally excited that the store will live on for years to come.”

Kernersville Bagel had been using Bagel Station as a supplier for several months and the new owners are eager to expand into the Heart of the Triad.

“This is a great opportunity to honor the Fiores’ hard work by uniting our two concepts,” said Paul Davis. “They’ve been a pleasure to collaborate with and we know this was a difficult decision.”
