Classic Murder Mystery Comes To Kernersville Little Theatre

Fans of the fictional detective Hercule Poirot will have an opportunity to see him solve one of his most legendary cases in one of six upcoming Kernersville Little Theatre performances.

“Murder on the Orient Express,” the popular 1934 Agatha Christie novel, features Poirot as its crime-solving protagonist and has been adapted for the stage by playwright Ken Ludwig.

1756 is an ambitious new project from Scope News designed to preserve Kernersville history in a unique way.

According to a KLT summary, Ludwig’s “clever adaptation … is as glamorous, full of intrigue, and suspenseful as the novel, with added humor and a quicker pace.”

Performances begin this week at James Fitzpatrick Auditorium, 512 West Mountain Street. Shows start at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday with a 2:00 p.m. matinee on Sunday. The same schedule repeats next week.
