A popular franchised toy store with a unique specialty will be opening its newest location this week in Kernersville’s New Market Plaza.
In addition to selling Lego bricks and collectible sets, Bricks & Minifigs will buy from or trade with customers who bring in their own bricks.
The new store, which is being opened by local resident Leigh Cannon, is also planning to host an array of events — from after-school clubs and “make-and-take” activities to corporate workshops and team-building meetings.
When the doors open at 10 a.m. on Saturday, the first 100 customers who enter will receive a customized Lego minifigure. Additional grand opening celebrations will include giveaways, discounts, and related activities.
With a team of trained staff members to assist Lego fans of all ages, Cannon said she is excited to share this new venture with the Kernersville community.
“Lego is an ageless toy that appeals not only to children, but also to parents, grandparents, and anyone who enjoys creative expression through those little plastic bricks,” she said.
