Free CPR, First Aid Training Course To Be Held At Library

A free course covering a variety of emergency and first aid techniques will be held next week at Paddison Memorial Branch Library, 248 Harmon Lane.

The 90-minute class will begin on Monday at 6:00 p.m. with Forsyth County Emergency Services personnel providing guidance.

1756 is an ambitious new project from Scope News designed to preserve Kernersville history in a unique way.

Although completion of the course will not earn any official certification, organizers say teens and adults can learn potentially life-saving skills by attending.

In addition to hands-only CPR techniques, the class will cover automated external defibrillators, choking, signs of a stroke, overdoses, basic first aid, and other medical emergencies.
