After opening its Support Services Center in downtown Kernersville late last year, Triad-based nonprofit group Room at the Inn announced a series of free classes for women in the community.
Angie Lukhard, the organization’s education and training specialist, told Scope News that two classes will be offered in the coming weeks.
On March 27, the High Point University LIFT Fellowship is conducting a PowerPoint training session. A resume-writing session is planned for April 10.
As Room at the Inn President and CEO O. Albert Hodges previously explained, the courses are designed to “provide comprehensive services related to professionalism, job seeking, and leadership to our mothers.”
Both three-hour classes begin at 11:00 and do not include childcare. To register for either, call Room at the Inn at 336-996-3788 or email alukhard@roominn.org.
