Authorities arrived at the scene of a disturbance late Wednesday evening in the 1000 block of Salisbury Street, where they reportedly found a 43-year-old man in the parking lot.
Investigators determined that John Darnell Richardson “suffered from multiple gunshot wounds” and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kernersville police say the shooting appears to be an isolated incident and the public is not believed to be in continued danger.
