A tradition that began last year at Korner’s Folly will return on Friday to coincide with a celebration of the local landmark’s 145th anniversary.
The festivities begin Friday at 10:00 a.m. with an egg hunt and the first self-guided tours of the mansion, located at 413 South Main Street. During the event, tours will be free for Kernersville residents.
At 11:00 a.m., a variety of yard games, races, and other outdoor activities are scheduled to begin, followed by a celebration and cake in the home’s Community Room at noon.
Community Day activities will take place on the property until 3:00 p.m., which will be the final opportunity for tours. Click here for more information about this event.
