Medical Practice Breathes New Life Into Historic Residence

Bryan Medical & Wellness recently began welcoming patients in its new offices, prominently located in a renovated South Main Street landmark.

Office manager Jacob Ledwell spoke to Scope News about the extensive updates and what made the historic Fagg House an ideal space for the practice.

“We chose this home because its timeless elegance made for the perfect location for our direct primary care office that specializes in aesthetic procedures,” he said. “The home has aged beautifully — just like our patients.”

Ledwell said he and his husband, Daniel Bryan-Ledwell, PA-C, “both grew up in the area and had always admired this house,” noting that it has “been a dream to bring it back to life with care and intention.”

Highlighting the work of Phelps Construction and architect Larry McRae, he said it was particularly “meaningful” to “work exclusively with local tradesmen” to complete the project.

“We hope our restoration helps inspire continued preservation and revitalization of the historic architecture that makes downtown Kernersville so special,” Ledwell concluded.

Bryan Medical & Wellness, located at 200 South Main Street, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new location earlier this week.
