A selection of local produce, baked goods, cheese, flowers, and more will be as close as Rotary Park when the Kernersville Farmers Market reopens this weekend.
Chef Charley Smith, known for his cooking demonstrations at the market, told Scope News that visitors will find many of the local farmers, nurseries, and artisans they have come to expect in the past.
“The favorites will be back this year,” he confirmed.
And when the market reopens this weekend, there will be a few new experiences in store.
“We’re going to add some additional vendors,” Smith said. “So we have somebody doing fresh-squeezed lemonade, we have some additional food vendors that are going to be there, and we’re going to have live music this year — that’s a big thing.”
The market, located at 134 East Mountain Street, will be open Saturdays and Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Click here for more information.
