Rick Brooks is bringing his homage to “The King” back to Kernersville. The Elvis Presley tribute artist will headline a veteran-themed show next week at Trex Cinema.
The 90-minute concert will feature The Steam Roller Band and accompanying vocalists The Sweet Neapolitans as Brooks delivers a set packed with hits from Presley’s decades-long career.

“And there will be some surprises,” Brooks told Scope News. “I’m going to do a little Christmas song at the very end of it to tease them, get them to come back. But it will be, you know, red, white, and blue.”
He said the show will honor community heroes while keeping the spirit of Presley’s legacy front and center. The Veterans Day theme winds throughout the show, with gospel favorites and patriotic hits like “American Trilogy.”
“Of course, we’re trying to reach all the military, all the first responders, emergency crews — everyone, you know, to pay your respects and honor to them,” Brooks added.
Tickets start at $11 online or $10 at the door with VIP seating available. Tickets are will-call and can be picked up at the theater before the show. Trex Cinema is awarding a $100 gift card to the “most inspirational guest” of the evening.
The show starts at 7:00 p.m. on November 11. Trex Cinema is located at 755 Cinema Court. Click here for more information about this event.
