Kernersville will once again salute those who served in the military with its third annual Veterans Parade, set for Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

The route will begin and end at the Kernersville Farmers Market, 134 East Mountain Street, where participants and spectators are asked to gather at least 30 minutes prior to the parade, when surrounding roads will be closed.

After traveling from South Main, heading north to Railroad and Beard streets before crossing East Mountain, the event will conclude with a “Hero’s Welcome” celebration at the farmers market.

Organizers thanked this year’s sponsors Missions Unlimited and Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services for supporting the event.
