“An Artful Christmas,” on display until January 3, reimagines the historic home’s rooms through the lens of late-19th-to-early-20th-century masterpieces. Volunteer decorators have spent months planning the details, styling the eclectic rooms after paintings from the era of the Korner family’s heyday.

Visitors can explore the decorations, inspired by artists including Monet, Van Gogh, and Renoir, at their own pace with self-guided tours offered Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5:00 p.m. The last entry of the day is at 4:00 p.m.

Each tour takes about an hour and includes a scavenger hunt, a vote in the “Best Decorated Room” contest, and a stop in the gift shop for ornaments, souvenirs, and an assortment of Victorian-inspired keepsakes.

Korner’s Folly staff say they typically see their highest visitor count during of the year when the home is decorated for the holiday season.

Tickets can be reserved online or purchased at the adjacent visitor’s center at 401 South Main Street.
