Owner Vianna J. Morrell marked the business’s latest evolution with a ribbon-cutting alongside friends, family, and community leaders, explaining her shift toward interior design and home furnishings.

“We had the opportunity to change the concept,” she said. “And we are very thankful for this.”

The revamped showroom now features a range of furnishings and decorations, including Ashley Furniture lines.

“We’re still doing coffee,” Morrell clarified. “A lot of people say, ‘Please, Vivi, don’t take away the Cuban coffee.’”

A key addition is an in-store ordering kiosk that allows customers to browse a broader furniture catalog beyond what is displayed on the floor.

“It’s like online shopping, but right here,” Morrell said, noting that items can typically arrive within about two weeks, with options for local pickup or delivery.

She said lease-to-own plans are also available, along with interior design advice if needed.

Vevi Design is located at 113 West Mountain Street. The store operates Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with additional times available by appointment.
