Jeremy Love of Kernersville was killed in the March 18 crash near Exit 208, according to Greensboro police.

According to a news release, the incident occurred shortly after noon when a Honda CR-V traveling the wrong way off the ramp from Sandy Ridge Road collided with two other vehicles at a high rate of speed. The impact caused two of the vehicles to catch fire.

Love was pronounced dead at the scene and the other drivers involved were transported to area hospitals for treatment of injuries described as not life-threatening.

The Greensboro Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit has reportedly been investigating the incident.
