A replica of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is on display through Sunday at VFW Post 5352, located at 618 Edgewood Street.
Following a ceremony Friday morning, the traveling monument was opened to the public to honor members of the U.S. military who have died in active-duty service without ever having their remains identified.
A permanent Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is located at Arlington National Cemetery in northern Virginia
The local display, which coincides with a “Wreaths Across America” exhibit, will remain open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
