Two Summer-Themed Downtown Vendor Fairs Set For Saturday

As Kernersville enjoys the final days of spring, a pair of events scheduled for this weekend will help ring in summer.

Musten & Crutchfield, located at 245 North Main Street, will be hosting its third Spring Fling. The outdoor market will feature dozens of local artisans and a food truck operated by event organizer Cousin Eddie’s.

Jennifer Collins, the co-owner of Cousin Eddie’s Sauce and Cousin Eddie’s Plan C Food Truck, spoke to Scope News about the Spring Fling.

She described it as “a unique event that brings together 30 crafters showcasing a diverse range of crafts, including woodworking, stained glass windows, jewelry, and much more.”

The food truck’s menu includes “signature dishes,” such as pork barbecue, beef brisket, hot dogs, wings, and fries.

Just a short distance away and during the same hours — 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. — Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden will be hosting its Summer in the Gardens craft fair. This indoor-outdoor event is expected to feature more than 40 vendors as well as live music and food.
