Truliant Federal Credit Union is sponsoring a contactless recycling event from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Kernersville Chamber of Commerce, 136 East Mountain Street.
Among the items accepted to be recycled are newspapers, metal, plastic, electronics, appliances, batteries, and TV or computer monitors.
Document shredding services and pill disposal will also be available.
Volunteers will be on hand to remove items from vehicles. Call 336-993-4521 for more information about the event.
