One local retailer will be hosting a free make-and-take event this week in honor of Veterans Day.

Bricks & Minifigs, 960 S. Main St., is inviting the community to create handwritten thank-you cards and small Lego builds for veterans.

Participants can stop by anytime during business hours on Wednesday. All supplies will be provided and no registration is required.

Organizers invite families, scout troops, and anyone interested in showing appreciation for the nation’s veterans.
