Locals have another opportunity to make a life-saving difference this week as the Kiwanis Club of Kernersville teams up with the American Red Cross to host a community blood drive on Friday.
The event will take place at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 1110 Salisbury Street, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with every pint donated providing the potential to help multiple patients.
Organizers say donors can expect a welcoming environment, free refreshments, and volunteers on hand to guide them through the process.
