All-American Lunch

Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Get a preview of the festivities a day early at Ace Hardware of Kernersville:

  • Free hot dogs and apple pie
  • Live Traeger grill demos

4th of July 5K Run

Saturday at 8 a.m.

Get your miles in early before the heat and crowds arrive:

  • Hosted by the Rotary Club of Kernersville
  • Starts at Pinnacle Financial Partners, 211 Broad St.

4th of July Parade

Saturday at 9 a.m.

Follow the fun down Mountain Street from Kernersville Elementary to Pinnacle Bank on Broad Street:

  • Arrive early; road closures could start as early as 6:30 a.m.
  • Sidewalk spots along the route tend to fill up quickly. 

Splash by the Blast

Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Keep the post-parade party going with a dip in the Kernersville Family YMCA outdoor pools:

  • Pizza, games, splash pads, and other activities. 
  • Great opportunity to cool down after the parade. 

4th of July Concert & Fireworks

Saturday starting at 5 p.m.

The annual event returns to Kernersville Raiders Football Field, 512 W. Mountain St.:

  • Live music, food trucks, kids activities, and fireworks
  • Lawn chairs encouraged; no pets, alcohol, or sparklers

Quick Tips:

  • Expect road closures downtown
  • Be sure to bring plenty of water
  • Coolers will be checked at the fireworks show
  • Parade viewing is first come, first served
