Summer camp activities continued in another part of the building and normal pickup procedures were maintained.

The YMCA later announced plans to reopen on Saturday, though some services remain limited.

According to the latest update, the main Wellness Center will be closed until further notice. The free-weight room, training center, group exercise classes, and other amenities are expected to remain open.

Members depending on the Wellness Center for cardio or strength training are encouraged to visit other area YMCA locations during the temporary closure.
