The Kernersville Community Recreation and Event Center will serve as the hub for the two-day event, with additional tours and exhibits planned at the botanical garden.
Organizers say the weekend will blend education, shopping, and community, with dozens of vendors and exhibitors expected to set up on the expo floor.
A full lineup of speakers will present hourly talks covering topics like conservation, cultivation, and the science behind carnivorous plants. Featured sessions range from the history and genetics of the Venus flytrap to deep dives into pitcher plant ecosystems and growing techniques.
The symposium is a ticketed event and members of the ICPS can attend for free with registration. Non-members can purchase single- or two-day passes that include a one-year membership.
