A local church will host a free, multi-service medical clinic this week with the aim of helping residents access essential care without barriers that can often prove prohibitive.
Hasten International Medical Missions is partnering with community organizations to offer the clinic from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at The Crossing Church, 1130 North Main Street.
The event is open to all ages and no appointment is required. Services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, however, so those interested are encouraged to arrive early.
Attendees will have access to a range of services including physical exams, sick visits, dental evaluations, and vision screenings. The Lions Club of Kernersville is expected to be on site to assist with eye exams. Additional support from public health, behavioral health, and social services resources is also scheduled.
Practical support for local families will also be available, including children’s clothing to be distributed as needed by Sew to Sew.
