A card show that debuted in January is quickly becoming one of the area’s fastest-growing collector events.
As we reported in March, Gate City Geeks saw a surge in interest between the first “K-Vegas Card Show” and the follow-up event that month. Continuing the trend, its third installment will move into the Kernersville Recreation + Event Center, marking the largest event to date.
Dubbed the “K-Vegas Summer Slam,” organizers Brad Iddings and Jenn Welch say the new venue will accommodate the more than 200 tables and 100 vendors expected.
Attendees can expect a wide mix of sports and Pokemon TCG cards, along with vintage collectibles, toys, plush items, and memorabilia. There will be opportunities to buy, sell, and trade throughout the event, scheduled for Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Admission is $5, with free entry for children under 15.
